[ shock is a perfectly normal reaction and emotion to feel to finding out people are dead. shouxue's mood, however, did not flare into shock. it remains mostly consistent in that she felt kind of neutral, mostly fine, with her mood dipping. ]

That could be a coincidence, or it could be something more.

WEEK 1, SATURDAY I'M SO ANGRY

[eunhyuk looks up from where he's sitting, on the far side of the wall, as if he's trying to maintain as much distance as possible between him and the glass. he is still bloody, but it looks like his nosebleed has finally stopped.

week 3, monday

for now i place them in a little heartgame-esque void, which takes both Eunhyuk and Shouxue to something that looks like a stage. It looks like one, but there is a broad, tranquil lake in the center, and the makeshift trees sway in the wind.

There is also a pale white swan swimming idly in the center of the lake, to the tune of faint orchestral music. Every so often it spreads its wings and does a little pirouette, as if dancing. At some point, it'll venture towards Shouxue, eyes beady and black, preening.

It ignores Eunhyuk entirely because he's lame.]

this is a bit sudden, so she'll take a second to adjust before she watches the swim or dance(?). eunhyuk isn't lame, but shouxue will approach the swan because she's dead yet not all the way dead and doesn't fear this (yet). (also because she is very used to birds because the imperial court in her world is bird coded.)

she stares back, waiting to see what it will do next. ]

What did you think of your first trial on this side?

[ she's fine.... she's calmer now. she's existentially tired, but she's always that. her irritation at how that how ended hasn't faded, but she isn't about to go on her-mes like the 16yo she is. ]

It is as bad on this side as it is on the other side, but I did not care for how they acted at the end. Whether that was to be a distraction from voting for Dion or from looking at Throné or even if it was true anger because he murdered Margaret....

anyway, shouxue is staring at a korean corn dog at the night market, the ones covered in potatoes, like it's a foreign object. she looks like she wants to try it.

anyway, shouxue is just going to be brooding somewhere. she's seated, knees up, arms around them, and staring blankly at nothing. when she sees eunhyuk, she has enough sense to call out to him: ]

[well after that, eunhyuk will immediately catch up with shouxue, hand slipping into hers as he stands with her,]

[he knows diluc must be hurting and as someone who cares very much for him, shouxue must be hurting as well on his behalf. but that must be a small slice of what she's feeling, there's so much more to be upset about, after all. he can feel it too, the frustration, for once dark and heavy.]

I wish we could see what was going on.

she is emotionally wrought from cyoa to diluc dying to the end of that trial. it's a terrible time to be young and feel emotions. she almost wishes her feelings would hollow out, but she hates that feeling or not feeling, too. ]

It would calm me down, if I knew they were doing something that will help her.

[ thinking about how the mods kept hinting that something would happen if i didn't get voted for. ]

I know they can't fully understand what we went through, but Rosamund reacted the most violently out of all of us. She suffered so viscerally.

[ she won't be that hard to find! all her injuries everyone has seen her received in game, so that's the issue. the issue is she's still feeling annoyed at idiots scientists three (science, dahut, luke) from yesterday. she'll get over it by tomorrow.
